In line with the F.A guidelines on youth development and age appropriate coaching, Wimborne Youth have decided to appoint 3 Directors of Football to oversee the development of the youth teams.
Director of Football for mini soccer 6 – 10 (to be adjusted with new regulations if/when implemented)
Director of Football for Senior Football – 11 – 18
Director of Football for Girls Football 6 – 18
The role will involve overseeing the coaching and match play of all teams advising coaches on youth appropriate coaching and best practice on match days.
Although unpaid, the club will fund all relevant coaching courses and will play an essential and integral part in the long term planning and future of youth football at one of Dorset’s premier football clubs.
